Jemez Springs, New Mexico.

Nicole and I visited Jemez Springs, New Mexico recently. The landscape is unique among deserts, wet and scultped and deliscious. A number of hot springs are found in the area - the main reason we went there - and though we didnt fancy the easier to get to, crowded ones, we did find a wonderful spring 5 miles down a snowy road. We rode our bikes in perhaps a little later than we should have and walked out in the dark. The springs were lovely and we had them all to ourselves. the water was clear and fell through 5 gleaming pools before running down the mountain forging a path through the snow of streaming spring grass and flowers.
