The Grand Canyon, Arizona

July 2008

The Grand Canyon has always been an American icon and seems to single handedly represent the countries "wildness". Though this may still be the case, the canyon now is choked in smog from the legions of visitors coning by car and nearby cities such as Phoenix and Las Vegas. Since our government seems to blame the french for everything these days, so will I, as I heard only French and scarcly a word of English the entire time i was there. The Grand Canyon is still lovely though and i am excited to live so near (Flagstaff). Nicole and I bough an "America the Beautiful" pass (oddly ironic since smog has become common place in so many of our parks) that will allow us in for free to the many over priced and under managed parkes in this great country.
